The Internship Experience
Our internship program at Dream City College offers a comprehensive and enriching experience designed to equip you for impactful ministry, leadership, and your career.
As an intern, you'll benefit from serving the Church, discipleship classes, Gallup strengths coaching, mission trips, leadership conferences, outreach events, student retreats, and mentorship programs.
Additionally, you'll have access to a wealth of resources to support your personal and professional growth. This holistic approach ensures you gain valuable skills and experiences, preparing you for a fulfilling career in ministry and beyond.
Practicums at Dream City College
At Dream City College, we believe in providing real training that goes beyond the classroom to help fulfill God's plan for your life.
Through practicum opportunities and specialized tracks, you will gain hands-on experience by serving in various ministries at Dream City Church.
This practical training not only prepares you for effective ministry but also translates into valuable career skills applicable outside the church.
Upon graduation, you will walk away with four years of experience and a degree, equipping you for a fulfilling career in whatever area you choose.
Practicums run 16-weeks
Each week, you’ll have seven hours of practicum time built into your schedule to learn from seasoned leaders.
You’ll choose from the following Practicums to gain real-world experience; Worship, Dream City Kids, Dream City Youth, Media & Communications, Dream Team, Outreach & Missions, and Church Administration.

We’re careful to select the right students for the right reasons.
We’re looking for students who show a drive to learn, demonstrate servant leadership, want to pursue academic excellence, and are growing in spiritual maturity.
Interested students must fill out the application for Dream City College, Southeastern University, and undergo an interview process with Dream City staff. (Acceptance to SEU does not automatically mean entrance into Dream City College) text goes here

Students hold regular hours at the Dream City Church Omaha campus Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm for spiritual development, ministry, and SEU academics.
For Sunday Services, all students are required to attend one service, and serve one service regardless of their Practicum hours
*Some Practicums may have additional hours. All Trips/Special Events that fall outside of normal weekly hours are still required.

Students are allowed to hold a part-time job while they attend Dream City College as long as their work schedule does not interfere with academic, internship, and practicum expectations.
Dream City College must be the student's primary commitment.

Dream City College is a ministry of Dream City Church. Dream City Church partners with Southeastern University as our educational provider. Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees.

Southeastern University provides financial aid and roughly 99% of students receive some form of financial aid including scholarships, grants, and loans.

If needed, DCC will work with students on finding a host home here in Omaha, NE.
Students are also able to live at home with their parents or opt to get their own residence.

In order to keep our students connected to Dream City College, we have our students in the office for half days on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students still serve and lead on Sundays throughout the summer.
Gap Year Program
Not sure what your next step is after graduating high school? That’s okay! Spend a year with us to explore, learn, and grow! Our innovative gap year, offered through Dream City College, is open to high school graduates, offering a transformative one-year journey to unlock your potential and pave the way for a successful future all while growing deeper in your relationship with Christ. Our goal, is that after your gap year, you’ll know who Christ is, who you are, and what you’re called to do and be ready for your next step.

At Dream City College, our gap year is offered to recent high school graduates (17-19 years old). Our program is an investment into who you are becoming. This means that we are looking for students who are hungry for God and hungry to grow.

As a gap year student, you’ll be heavily invested in through discipleship courses, personalized Gallup Strength coaching, leadership development, mentorship, outreach opportunities career coaching, and hands-on practicum experience.

Your gap year will run August - May and students will hold regular hours at Dream City Church Omaha Monday-Thursday for spiritual development and ministry.
For Sunday services, all students are required to attend one and serve one.
All trips of special events that fall outside of normal weekly hours may still be required.
